What is Sozo?
Sozo is a Greek word found in the New Testament that means “saved, healed, and delivered” — all at once.
Sozo is a gentle prophetic deliverance and inner-healing approach grounded in evidence-based and trauma-informed practices. These sessions have the goal of uncovering and addressing the root issues that hinder your personal wellbeing and relationship with God and others.
A Sozo session will help you to receive a fresh encounter with God — his love, truth, and healing power — and you’ll leave with a deeper sense of peace and joy.

What can I expect in a Sozo?
Sozo is different from counselling. While counselling primarily uses psychological tools to help, Sozo incorporates spiritual tools. Both counselling and Sozo have their own value and purpose, and our team can direct you towards whichever we think will be most beneficial for your needs.
Sozo sessions are longer than a typical counselling session, usually being between 90 minutes to 2 hours.
There will also be 1 to 3 Sozo leaders in the session, who will be praying for you and guiding you through the process. As the Holy Spirit leads, you’ll invite God into your hurt and pain, and you’ll experience a fresh revelation of God’s love for you. You’ll also learn God’s perspective on whatever situation you’re facing, providing you with insight and truth on your healing journey.
Since the session is largely lead by the Holy Spirit, each session is unique and specific to the person being cared for. God knows best what you need, and our goal is to facilitate the next step of your healing journey.
